Directions: Using the integers −9 to 9 at most one time each, place an integer in each box to create an arithmetic sequence and a function that represents it.

Hint

How can you shift a sequence so that you can use the integers you have available?

Answer

There are many possible answers including:
5, 6, 7, … = 1x + 4
1, -2, -5, … = -3x + 4
